Calls for Demos
The Canadian Conference on AI, Robots & Vision (AI/CRV 2026) is excited to invite researchers and practitioners to present live, interactive demonstrations of their latest work.
We are seeking two types of demonstrations:
- Hardware-based demos: Systems involving physical components such as robots, novel sensors, or custom hardware.
- Interactive software demos: For purely software-based submissions, the demonstration must feature real-time interaction with the world. This can include input from a keyboard, mouse, microphone, or camera, with the system's response displayed on-screen or through another output.
We welcome innovative and interactive demos across the full spectrum of AI, computer vision, and robotics.
Submission Requirements
- Title, author(s), and affiliation(s)
- Short description: A brief paragraph describing the demo.
- Demo video (URL): Please provide a link to a short video (2-4 minutes) of your demo in action. Note that if necessary, the video can be submitted after the notification of acceptance. In that case, acceptance will be conditional upon the final submission and approval of the demo video.
- Logistical requirements: A list of any special needs (e.g., space, power, network access).
Additional Details
- Review: Submissions will be peer-reviewed based on technical innovation, potential for attendee engagement, and relevance to the AI/CRV community.
- Presentation: Accepted demos will be provided with a booth and presented concurrently with the main poster session.
- Publication: Demos can be associated with a publication, but this is not a requirement.
- Scope: The demo track is intended for research prototypes and is not a showcase for mature commercial products.
